Dietary Help

as some of you may have read in one of my previous threads i have ended the season with my FRT early due to tail feather damage and have put her into the moult chamber at 2lb 12.5oz (her hunting wieght) now i intend to feed her mice DOC and rabbit and the odd quail and then increase the quail to daily towards the end of april, the question is how much should i be giving her on a daily basis i was thinking one quail and two DOC, (and of course vitamins) any advice from people who have moulted out red's on a regular basis would be welcome as this is my first time moulting a red, oh and what sort of wieght increase can i expect when i get her out after the moult should she be the same "fat-weight" as when i picked her up

as much as sheil eat m8 and whatever variety you can provide, expect quite a large weight gain ,up to 10 oz or more!

cheers BB at the mo i can give her up to 5/6 DOC and she doesn't have much of a crop should i give her 9ish and monitor her crop size

9 doc seems a lot m8 even for a female red i would worm her just in case, food has different nutritional value so go for quality not nessesarily quantity,
