Iv'e had it for about 3 seasons, I think its more my fault that its broken, you can adjust the tension by the screw and I imagine i've tightened it too much and in the end the piece thats held the screw in place has opened up, due to being too tight!

Is it possible to get a close up of the offending catch? There are alot of similar type catches around. Also is there a part number on the inside of the catch?

Contact the manfacturer im sure they'de help you out, most will free of charge, then you can tell us all how wonderful the company is,and we'd go there for all our falconry/hawking needs, obviously if they didnt help you then still let us know and watch the company sink to a low level of liquidation.its amazing how us lads all stick together you know!!!!

Here's a couple of pics no luck with contacting the manuacturer as yet! If anyone knows what these catches are called please let me know, it's a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack, so many catches around!
Finnish what type of catch did you get? don't mind what type it is so long as I don't have to drill anymore holes.

HH if you go into your lcal saddler , ask if they used to do case repairs ( suitcase etc) if so cheney used to do some quite suitable catches ( the lock with akey as well) for attache cases. if you get no joy , pm me & I will put you intouch with a saddler that I am pretty sure still has some . bear in mind these are quite different to what is on there , but ultimately I think you may find them more sdesirable HTH J

Just get any catch.
If you have to re-drill then fill the old holes with araldite rapid.
