Advert again....Westweald do a 1st aid kit. covers most 1st aid stuff with instructions for use. Lectade, crystals to stop bleeding fast, crop tube, splint etc etc. I add to this a mite, flee spray for ferrets and bird plus a spray for these to use in living quarters and box. F10 is a good disenfectent and harmless to birds and is the stuff they use in nebulisers for Gos etc. A bit of sticky plaster is useful when the bird or ferret nabs you, stops the other one homeing in on you too.

Try the above from Brian at Westweald or ring Niel Forbes I know he makes up kits and also a handy first aid book to go with it

I bought a pet first aid kit, dumped out some unuseful stuff and added a few things/ got a caustic pen and some crystals and what else..oh yeah crop tube and stuff, glucose sachets and sterile water (never used it yet though) Also chucked in stuff for imping and super glue and erm..mini splints for emergency external temp. fixes/immobilisation.
nice little case too! It packs into a side pocket of the jeep and goes wherever I do. Good idea about the plasters too - cos we need FI too! lol :supz: (touch wood- been lucky - only had to use the super glue so far)
