Hi All

Does any one know of a heat sealing cutting knife... I need one to cut and seal the ends of my nylon braces so they dont fray at the ends... it must be available somewhere? .... do you own one? ....do you want to sell it :)

Griff Im not exactly sure, but you could try a company called http://www.lyteze.co.uk/. They supply various bits and bobs to the sign making and packing industry. I think you can get such a hot knife/scalpel for use in freehand cutting of class 1 reflective vinyls.

Grif if your near rutland water some time the yacht club has a chandlery and they use an impressive hot knife for cutting all the nylon ropes etc I use a modelling soldering iron, with a 'blade' fitted ,but it's very clumsy and slow to heat up etc:roll: HTH J
