Lost suspected Pere Falcon ...Leics

Hi All

had a phone call from Neil at the IBR today....bloke saw a falcon on a Duck in my village (Near Loughborough)....it had Jesses on and its color was "Grey".

I naturally jumped in the car and got the lure out at the spot where it was seen. I got my receiver out and got a signal on 216 channel 6 tune 7-8 and got a strong signal for about 3 hours ...but nothing confirmed as seen..... signal whent dead an hour ago..... so waiting until dark to try again.

Any East midlanders with 216 ...can you get your receivers out and try and get a signal :)

i can get mine on round the northants area if it helps griff i know a fair way from you but who knows with falcons

Jay....... Just out of interest did you pick up the Harris Hawk that was loose down the road from you? An update would have been nice

nah tery all the times i got a phone call its here it had gone but did let a few falconers in the area it was seen aware as 20-30 mins up the road from me wasnt easy specially with traice in the car saying SLOW DOWN

Been out 'patrolling' Notts/Leics border, but not picked up a signal. Lets hope its back in its mews with a relieved owner.
