were they fereted or were u using a dog, seeing the bird done so well why isnt she sat on your glove with a full crop? as a reward for being robbed 8 times:confused:

she has a massive crop........and she steps off any kill with no problems.
just wish i had me camera for the other 7 she took fri...and had a full crop then aswell

she is so pumped up at the moment ..... flying her hard all season often every day for long periods of it ... her metabilisum is right up and i can give her a fair (not a full) crop every session and fly her the next day

i feed her throughout the season on what she kills... i do find that pheasant puts her too high to fly her the following day if she gorges on the kill

Have there been any young rabbits about where you are?
I'm only asking cause my Nimbus caught one today, he just dropped out of the tree he was sitting in straight into the undergrowth and that was that,
nothing I could do cause by the time I got into help the little un was done for.
Weighed about 14 ounces.

not as of yet mate...although this time last year we has quite a few... when i paunched the rabbits there were no babes in them either....thick layer of fat though
