well I'm stumped?

Ive just checked out a tiercel before putting my best falcon with him in the breeding chamber and all his pounces ( talons) are clear/opaque instead of black. chmber south facing, plenty of daylight etc all the usual, hawk has been fed varied diet inc plenty of pidgeon only thing that has changed is he was moved into this chamber thistime last year any thoughts folks ATB J:roll:

Only time I have seen this was when we left a bath in with a Pere Falcon when it got very cold and she just loved to stand in the bath, this i believe caused the layers that form the Tallon to soften and shed earlier than they should. We took the bath out and within a few weeks she was back to normal. It's a shot in the dark M8 but if there is a bath in there take it out and see if it clears up
