Which Disinfectant

Hi all,
Another wet day in paradise. Nothing for it but to wash out the mews. What disinfectant does everybody normally use. I normally use Jeyes but the smell is so strong. Any Hints.

f10 mate

There are only two that i use.
1. Vircon, after cleaning i apply it quite strong and leave it for about 30 mins then rinse.
2. F10 i use this more as it is a contact vetrinary disinfectant. although more expensive again after cleaning i apply f10 through a spray and leave. f10 is not harmfull to the bird if ingested. therefore probarbly the best!

Just what i do, everybody has their own ways.

F10 seems to be the the best one to use, can be put into the birds drinking water and has a longer life than Virkon S once mixed up!

Both vets John Chitty and Neil Forbes sell F10 in various forms and I Garlands sell it to!

Fine if you are not putting your bird straight back in the muse or avary. and have a spare week and 100's of gallons of water to rinse it out with. dont think its worth thr risk of ingestion

Ok all thanks for the advice. F10 it is. will contact Garlands and see if they can deliver or see the local vet for a supplier closer to hand.
