that makes me feel sick. how can people do that to birds of prey or to any animal in fact.

thats digusting, absulutely apalled by it!:-x
especially the fact that quite a few of those birds badly treated at WILDLIFE CENTRES!! arent they supposed to help the birds and animals!
just shows as well how much difference the right kind of wire used on the aviary can have on the feathers and well being of the birds, even the type of perch makes a difference! this shows that if these small simple things are over looked, how much it matters to the birds health and well being!

your all quite right it is appauling it is disgusting but it happens all the time in this country too.there are loads of "rescue centers" that in my opinion are run by missguided knutters, they rescue anything and save its life at any cost, ive seen one full of one winged one legged herring gulls,?? WHY? surely euthenasia would be a better bet! these people think they are doing no end of good! but what good. and unfortunatly an increasing ammount are now"CHARITIES" oooohh. not making a good living at the expense of abandond fledglings and cute little orphaned fox cubs are we?? theres one guy locally who claims he saves everything and has a 100% success rate with returning everything to the wild?????? despite any really debilitating injuries. the really sad fact is the local police, rspca, and rspb all think the man is a genius and the sun shines out his ****. i cant prove it but theres a few around here who suspect that when falconry birds are picked up and handed in he cuts there rings off and lets them go. im telling you man from years of experiense a huge amount of wild stuff once knackered enough to be picked up is better off being humanely put down.

Those fu@ked up bird pictures show how important it is to:

A. Keep your bird in the correct housing and give correct diet etc.
B. Support the IBR.
C. Give all the inexperienced, and beginers as much help as possible.

good advice, but none of it will help birds like these, they are usually illegally taken by morons who know nothing, unfortunatly it will allways go on untill stiffer sentencing is carried out.
