I'm looking to put down my M&F HH for the moult in the next couple of weeks. They've got a nice new mews, they're having a mite spray and worming at the vet and the freezers choc full of good quality food so they should be ok.Is there anything health wise I should be aware of while they're moulting, anything they're succeptible to at this particular time of their year or any other preparations I need to make?

i agree with that, make sure there is plenty of tirings as well as regular food, also make sure there is an area of shade for the sunnier days. fresh water at least once a week. Have you put nesting material in with them too?

My vet suggested disinfecting the mews on a monthly basis. I use Vydiphor or something like that which works well. Might be worth doing it before you put the birds down.

No it doesn't require bedding. Just good perches.
