Don't wait until next year; find a local centre (if that is what you are intending t do) and go in regularly and then ask to become a volunteer. That way, the centre owner will then get to know you by the time of your work experience, and it will make your time easier.
Plus you will be learning as you go.

totally agree! that way your workexperiance will have more emaning to it as your probably have more to do and know what your doing! some centres dont like taking on work experiance people who they dont know so if they get to know yuo itll be more worth your while!!!! ill have a look for a few centrews round your way if you like and post the www later!!

Also..... if you get knocked back; just politely say 'thanks' but keep going into the centre........................when they ask for volunteers.........stick your hand up every time; this way, they will see that you are really wanting to know about the sport/livelihood and they may reconsider.
NOW is the time to go, it's coming up to the start of most centres seasons for the summer and will need people..............:P
Are there any clubs close to you? (click on the clubs link on the home page)

Both; in the long run, the club will guide you on the way, and they will also most definately know of the centre owners etc. this will help in getting the work place.
