I have finally managed to log on, noticed my name mentioned a few times, so now Im here!! yes im the one with the gyr/merlin merger!! I have flown a few other birds as well!! I talk shop all day so sometimes switch off at night, but I will endevour to answer what I can, wether my replies account for anything I dont no, make your own mind up,I have nothing to hide or gain just honesty!! cheers kev riach..:!: always hunt on an empyt stomach!!!!!!!

welcome m8 that bird sounds interesting would love to hear what its been taking. my mate flies a perlin male. last day of season it knocked down 2 teal and a red leg, but did not catch good fun though.:rolleyes:

amazing flights , all the fun of an accipiter without the stress!!! rapid take off, huge stamina massive agilty, very much partridge only, my own doing but I still have her!!at the moment remember shes for sale! and by the way is there anybody else in the uk flying one!!!

I have I heard that their tails are the almost the length of a gyr but that the feather shaft is as thin as a merlins. This makes the feathers vulnerable to breakage. Have you found this to be true? Is this true with perlins as well? Isaac
