Here is one you can make yourself.
Cut out two panels as you see them there.
Cut a strip of leather about 1 inch wide to go around the edge
And another to go on the inside of the food hole about 3/4 of an inch wide.
Sew all the edges, remember to leave place to be able to stuff it with whatever you prefer, I use old rag of nylon that will not rot.
Lastly fit your eyelet at the top as indicated
Finish by attaching a swivel and nylon to the bottom of the eyelet to tie the food on with. This lure should last years if made from kangaroo leather which you can get from AmazingOZ (http://www.falconryforum.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=122). It is also great as the hawk whill always see the food no matter which way it lands on the ground.
Anymore questions that need clarifying please ask.
Hope that helps?

I began making and selling them about 2 years ago after buying similar ones from northwoods. Theirs only had the body section filled and the wing parts were very flimsy.
I contacted Brad and sent him some pictures just to make sure I wasn't infringing any copyright:wink: He wrote back saying how much he liked them and hoped I do well in selling them.
I then got them copyrighted. I'd like to see a picture of the ones you mention for comparison.:supz:

Saw speed a couple of times before it was killed. Great bird.
Got my first lanner of Rick. He moved to Scotland back in the 90's. Not heard of him for years.
