hello to everyone, new to this forum, i have a great interest in the birds and have recently joined a club,i have no bord yey but i am just doing my homework, there seems alot of ambiguity in the books so i am a little confused as to what is best for the bird.Anyway i feel that joining a club was the best solution to iron out these problems. The forum seems a great place to get loads if ideas, hope to get plenty of ideas off the experts:o :o

welcome nevo. you have done the right thing in joining a club before you get a bird, learn as much as you can before you get your own, perhaps someone at the club will take you under their wing(parden the pun)and let you handle their bird a little.good luck.

You dont say where you live, a country would be good  Its just if you aren't British the rules can be different. The accomodation slightly depends on the type of bird you eventualy go for. 2 places to keep it is better. A large area for the molt and a smaller safe place when cleaning out the molt chamber or for cold and frosty nights. Plus if you dont want every thing in your house, a shed for all your equipment, scales, gloves, telemetry, hawking vest..aahhhh the list goes on.

Greetings and welcome:supz:
To avoid pooh problems, put pea gravel on the floor and spray it with warm water to wash it down into the gravel. I've actually got a drainage system on the sides as well, but that may be a bit much if on a budget...
