wonder what ellse it can spread too.??

yea just seen it on Newsround CBBC (im such a kid!!)
i didnt realise it could spread to other animals (well i gues i shoulda) i just thought it was between birds and sometimes humans!!! they said it had occured in another animal or two but im not sure if they just ment us humans or another animal??

I wasn't too shocked by the story, I mean, if humans can catch it, then surely other mammals could catch it?

Yes, cats can carry it and can be killed by it too. All the tigers in one of the zoos in the far east (can't remember which one) were killed by being fed chickens infected with avian flu - more than a dozen tigers!
