Ok i bought a luksander 216mhz telemetry 3 channel with spring loaded yagi antena. It's great it picks up my HH transmitter really well. But we found out yesturday that it doesn't pick up my mates transmitters, this is because i have less frequency coverage than him as he has the 10 channel telemetry with the big antena on (dont ask what make). I was wondering if i got one of these antenas would myn pick his transmitters up?

The antennae (yaggi) doesn't make a difference to which channels can be recieived - they are specifically made for that frequency range. Your receiver will need modification to receive more channels.

Also your mates transmitter may be on the 173 frequency?
Look at the instructions and it should tell you what frequencys will be picked up on each channel-the yagi antenna will have nothing to do with this :-)

Your transmitter will be running on 216, channel 1, 2 or 3. Your friends would normally run on one of the first 3 channels unless some one asked for a different channel. If it is a 10 channel, large antenae, it sounds like Luksander. Which channel on his set is he using for his transmitter?? He should be able to pick up your transmitter fine, but if his is running on channel 4+ you probably wont get it. Try swopping your channels and also the tuning nob, you may pick it up but not as a real clear bleep.
