Well after saying hi I realise that I had better be a little more explicit, my name is Jon and I have a few birds and have been flying for about 20 years.
I am currently having fun with a rather disagreeable Saker (she likes to bite) but also flying a female Red Tail, Sophie, who hates anything that moves, especially my wife but is like a teddy bear with me, George my male Common Buzzard, who is probably the bird which gives me my most enjoyment as he is great on long walks (follows on perfecly) Elton, my daughters Euro Eagle Owl who flys like a dream but takes Rabbit and sits in trees with them (many a long day spent coaxing him down) called Elton as he is very sexually confused. Also have Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, Little Owls, Long Ear Owls AND AM DESPERATE TO AQUIRE A SHORT EAR OWL WITH A10. My wife Terri has a Rufus Thighed Owl called Gonzo and a Female Common Buzzard called Squeek.
Why so many Birds ?
Well we also run a Bird of Prey Rescue and a lot of the birds were unwanted so we give them a good home. We also will pass on birds free of charge to Falconers as long as we get references and are certain that they will be housed properly and flown - Try us especially for Eagle Owls and Barn Owls.
I am looking for a short Ear Owl, a pair of Kestrels and a male Little Owl and will travel to get them.
