El Huayquito, in Peru, confirmed today the first captive bred Leucopternis in the world. Congratulations

(Loosest use of the word hawk since the Harris :lol: )

i really dont know what they are! ive never seen one. they look more like a buzzard in "eagles,hawks and falcons of the world" ? an old book but still a bible when unusual things come up! you must realise there are hundreds of bop most of which are never refered to in any falconry literature, hope someone on here who is good on the commputer puts up a decent photo?

The bird is only 3 days old, I will send a pic as soon as the bird looks a little more grown. We are very happy with ths success¡¡¡
