You don't need supplements if a good diet is used.

Moses,
If you feed a variety of whole body(IE whole quail, whole mice...Ect) animals you should be fine. I feed quail, chicks, 6 week old chickens, starling and rabbit that was caught during the hunting season. If you vary the diet you should be fine. One thing tho, if you are feeding wild caught food you have to be observant for disease and parasites.

cheers johnny and sean, jim and greg

sean i will give that a try mate and yes i saw that first aid kit at westfield i will be going for that when i go for my bird

jim and greg the reason i was asking guys was

i will only be feeding mines wae

rabbit
quail
docs
beef
and anything it catches i wont be feeding it rats and mice

i dont mind feeding a live one to a snake but to have a box full of rats and mice and their tails will make me sick for sure

so thats out of the question, the reason i was asking was coz their was a thread here a few weeks back with someones harris not looking to good but a good diet of venision sorted it out

so wanted to make sure it gets the proper supplements

cheers

Hi Moses.... As others have said a varied diet should be all that's needed but i personally supplement during the moult anyway and sporadically when flying...... I use Raptor Essentials Daily During the moult and find it to be perfect for me, I also use a supplement called 'Bio Plus' once / twice a week which is a pro biotic that helps the gut and digestive system.

Hope this helps.
