could anyone please give me some advice on what is best diet to feed the bird during the moult and how much he flys at 1 .10

if you want him to moult out without flying then give him as much as he can eat-rats,quail,chicks.Push his weight right up mate.

The Most Important Thing To Remember Is To Feed Him A Whole Animal Diet, But Do Not Just Stick With One Kind, Vary His Diet

Rats, Mice, Pigeon, Quail, Rabbits, Ducks, Partridge the list could go on vary it as much as you can feed himas much as he will eat to begin with, keep your eye on him when he start leaving food reduce the quantity slightly but not the quality, his weight will probabally go up by 20 - 25 %, if you want a fast moult consider using lights.
