Multi user names...............

As there seems to be a number of people that have several log in names, could the Admin, search them out, then post up who they are by stating their original log in, then their alter egos............................apart from wanting to cause trouble or have ago at people hiding behind their screens, I can't see why anyone would need another log in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all know that there have been a lot of petty back-stabbing and jibes going on recently; so can we get something sorted out and get the air cleared once and for all.

For a happy, safe forum, EVERYONE that has a double or triple name should be named and shamed.
If they are using different pc's, then chances are we'll never know, although some might have a log in at their work, and at their home!!!!

What I personally find hard is, you and the Mods. can see who, but others that might be getting slagged, abused etc. are oblivious to it and would/should be protected instead of a thread running on and getting nasty as has happened numerous toimes. (obviously, we don't know if those being malicious are one of the multi users but the Admin as you have stated does. surely for the sake of the 'forum and it's loyal/honest members, it is best to put a stop to it.

i was originally skywalker but then my password pparently was incoorect even though it the most obvious (for me)!! so i registered (with the same email) and then it worked for a day and blocked that password!!!! i contaced finnish 9or some iff official) they sent me a new pasword but it didnt work either so i gave up and signed in with my yahoo email!!!

It's nothing to do with 'our' club so it doesn't matter what I've been told. The point is, some people have been advised to stay away from the forum...............................if they, because of their mentality feel they are going to carry on, they will just join up on a 'new' pc or a different name.....................................it isn't rocket science. I could quite easily get my daughters laptop and go on line, sign up under a different alias, then start '******** and backstabbing' and wind everyone up:roll: , as I say, it isn't rocket science.

Precisely, a few have legit reasons and have said they have 2 log ins but they aren't the ones causing trouble etc..................it's all down to attitude and mentality. Chuffers has said he uses 2 names; I imagine one is from maybe a works pc. if the admin at his works (this is only an assumption) saw that CPC was viewing the internet on their time, they might ask questions about who this person is etc. if on the other hand he has a user name for his pc and uses it to log on here, then they probably think he's working:lol:

fair point about letting users know, if only out of courtesey.
as far as i see when stuff is moved a post is put up to say so... im sure this can be done.

Also a thing to remeber is a post may not have been deleted as such just moved, as we all know things can move at such a rapid pace here, and if things are getting a little out of hand for me its easier to move it out the way ...catch up and possably edit etc add the relevent why this has been done etc and then put it back .

I don't mind admitting that I posted as WhiteGyr it was done as a laugh and it certainly went down well at the time. It lasted a few days and that was the end of it. I have no other users names nor do I intend to have. The only other Forum user in my home is my Daughter and she comes on when she has time. So please do tell me what other 2 User Names I have or use because you seem to know more than me.

I informed Lee and Paul that I had used WhiteGyr as a user name and asked for it to be put under my name as i wanted the Account combined.
Some of the other members who were also posting funny posts were informed at the time that I was playing a little joke on Adam (Blaze) but it turned out to be so funny that we left it run for a few days and then that was that.

Some people seem to think I have multiple user names but this is not the case I have only one user name and thats it, anyone who says different is lying and if you want we can ask Hawkmaster to run a check on me he has my IP addy so he can do it if you feel it is nessersary.

I have no problem as a Forum Member or a Moderator that another Member should use another user name for a joke or because he had forgotten his password, where I would have a problem is when someone uses another name to cause trouble or arguments or in some cases to back up what he is saying by using a ficticious name that is not on.
