Maybe some of the more experienced breeders on the forum could answer a few questions.
Which do you find easier to imprint to a stage where they are a viable breeding prospect, a male semen donor or a standing egglayer?
Is there any similarities when trying to bring both into condition each year i.e. Is it easier to condition the bird that you find to be the easiest to initially imprint?
I know the answers will differ from species to species but are there any general patterns?
