just incase karl is very keen buy not yet well informed, it should be pointed out that the falcon in the pics...is a falcon and therefor not a Red... (sorry if you knew that...just making sure :wink: )

My male and female currently on 3 eggs. The male has a lovely dark "V" on his back, the female is a much lighter bird all round.

the pic that iv got is my gyr perigen falcon hes 2 years old the only reason iv asked if any 1 had any pics of the red tail is cuz my cuzin is getin 1 iv told him to go for a harris tho jue to it bein his first bird iv got my 2 birds soon to be 3 my female herris an my falcon thanks for the pics there all well gd now iv seen the pic of red tails i woundnt mind 1 my self but thats wen iv got my own place an a big back garden

feamle red on a rabbit few years ago and before someone asks she's got blue feet because she had few bites from squirrels its just anti-septic spray

you mate will do just fine with a red as a first bird and will turn out a better falconer for it IMHO.
