Saker was lost from mid/south Wales mid summer. Male with leg bell, partly molted could well look like that. It has a leg ring and is also micro chipped. It was reported to IBR. It was flown to kite and lure. Any chance of catching it???

this bird looks recently lost as its jesses are still there,if it was way back in the summer im sure they would have been pulled out by now.

Can you let me know, they were devastated when bird went missing, as it hadn't hunted it was presumed dead. Unless it is caught and is theirs better not to raise hope. The IBR have a record of the leg ring no. and the owners name. I only have owners phone number. This is the bird during the summer but it didn't molt as it was flying.

just that the anklets are tan leather the same, the pic isn't very clear. The lost bird pic was taken with sun full on and in immature feathers.
I know it is a long shot he is still alive, but you never know.
Hope you catch it, but at least it is killing.

the bird looks like a merlin hybreed, could be compleatly wrong. The head and the shape just remind me of one. So gyrlin?? Female?
Hope you catch it.

Hello All,
The falcon is a gyr/pere x saker and I lost him at Castle Cary, Somerset a couple of weeks ago. I've sent a PM to Hawkman69 already with my number in case he sees him again. The pic I've attached shows him on a gull just a couple of months ago.

If that birds a Merlin hybrid I'll show my butt in the co op window. Looks like a Tribrid to me wouldnt hazard a geuss apart from saying nothing to do with Merlin.

Brown Falcon seen today at dinner time. Natch went up to try a catch the bird. He had killed a gull. Hardly nothing left of it.. Seen in Headly park. The reason the bird flu off was cause some man let his dog off and it ran up to the bird. Natch looked all around the area but nothing. Seems like this is the same bird..... We will all keep an eye out for you...

Well my falcon's back home today safe and sound. Currently sat on a block in the lounge preening and watching TV. He was picked up by a farmers son on Saturday trying to raid a larson trap. Many thanks to all those who have tried so hard to help me get him back and thanks again to the IBR who did an outstanding job as usual.
