I intend to pull the hen birds first clutch after about a week of natural incubation then put the eggs into an incubator, if the parents produce a second clutch (which should arrive just before the 1st clutch hatch) i plan to swap them over as soon at the 1st clutch start to pip, then incubate the second clutch.
Heres the question, once the second clutch start to pip can i just pop the eggs back into the nest or should i wait for them all to hatch and bring them on by hand for 3 or 4 days first?

AFHB, why don't you post the answer? I am interested in the same subject. Since it's a good question and as a breeder my self I am interested too.
Thanks,
Sokoly

I just thought since it's a breeding thread why don't we share our experiances. Isn't it what this forum is all about?

rear them by hand and put them back 6-8 days old they should be strong enough to take any clumsy knocks off the parent birds....
