Hi to all.
I'm new to the forum, based in Dorset, and flying a female Harris' on woodland and downs, just finishing for the season. This was her second full season and she's come on leaps and bounds, really delighted with her. I'm keen to train up a longwing for next season and have been flying a friend's imprinted peregrine to the lure to improve my skills. Should have permission to fly partridge in the autumn. A big step up from what I've been doing, but I've got good people to guide me.

She's had a variety of kills, some rabbit, a lot of pheasant, a partridge, squirrels, which she takes by the head, and even a field mouse! I haven't used ferrets, or a dog, so I tend to do most of the flushing myself. I'm fortunate to have a lot of woodland which borders some nice hilly farmland, so we've had a variety of flights, ambushes from trees as well as some soaring when the wind is right.
