hi i'm new

hello everybody,
I,ve been reading the forum since january, so i thought i'd join and say hello i'm from south wales in the valleys. i don't fly birds but i go along with my sister and her husband who fly a female harris hawk and a male red tail . I go along with them ferreting and carry the bags lol. i've been with them for the last 3 years helping them out .thanks gregmik for your help.

thankyou you all for the kind welcome. I think hells asked me if i was getting a bird ? yes hells i will be etting a bird but not in the near future because with working monday to friday in a classroom and i do call out on a saturday for fixing computers in the community . I don't think it would be wise to have a bird sitting in the mews or in an avairy all week and expect it to hunt on the sunday it won't be fair to have a bird in that situation . so i'm happy to go out on a sunday to ferret for my sister and brother in law , as my bil flys his birds 6 days a week

yes hawkmaster i have some photo's of the bird out hunting i will put some on the thread tomorrow . Yes some time in the future i will get a hawk ! but not at the moment because it wouldn't be fair to the bird .
