Frogs

i know that this may seem a stupid question but i went in to clean the mews out today and saw that they was blood and guts on the sand so i ha d a look around and saw half a frogs leg on the sand just wondering if anyone has had there hawk eat a frog and are they poisons cheers tom

My male HH regularly takes frogs that enter his enclosure; I've often wondered about the secretions as after he has eaten them, he will sit on the perch with wings dropped for about half an hour before getting back to normal. In the wilds they eat reptiles!!!

My male HH have eaten loads, when they eat gravid females the eggs look odd on their mutes. Frogs are not toxic, but toads are.

Shouldn't do any harm to the birds as lots of birds eat amphibians in the wild. I worked in a centre where a barn owl ate a frog once. No problems apart from we couldn't fly it that day (the barn owl incase anyone is wandering) as it had screwed up it's weight.

Ive seen my owl eat dog pooh m8 and still look happy ,
Ive tasted it once m8 when me son came in from out of the snow .
And sat eating me tea which i made my self as the wife was,nt speaking to me and i thought i had brown sauce on my lap ??????????

Frogs, just try to taste unpleasant, so they do not get eaten.
Only poisonous ones are tree frogs!
