the moult at what speed

hi all daft question I knowe but star my fhh has lost 4 secondaries plus one tail feather in just two weeks and was wondering at what pace thay normaly
cast there feathers.as at this rate it wont take long to moult she is 05 bird thanks in advance /dave

It takes 7 to 10 days for the new feathers to grow, and then the next set are thrown and so it goes on, but nothing is 100% exactly like that as there are many other factors.

mite be due to being a first year bird as they moult out quicker than a seasoned bird ??? tell me next year the moult was as quick ???

my bird has been moulting now for just over 3 weeks and is 2lb, still to drop a feather, dropped a few chest feasthers like, but thats all :( lol

Myn started two days ago and has dropped a secondry a day. Myn has a bath nearly everyday as well, not sure if this is to help the fethers come out?
