Well this is my motor not very practical for ferrying the hawk around but don't take me long to get to my destination providing i don't get caught lol.. It's a Volvo 850t5r have owned the car for 6 yrs now spent quite a bit of dosh on it i have had all the management system remapped she kicks out 350bhp at the crank about 310 at the wheels 3 inch stainless steal down pipe with racing Cat imported from Sweden. Upgraded the brakes to AP Racing Set with upgraded pads also. Polyurethane bushes fitted all round strut brace modified air intake quick shift linkage gear change. Also Rev lights fitted to indicate when reached maximum revs (with out blowing it up lol) She as been standing for the best part of a year and half but shes going for MOT Wednesday so she will back on the road in the next coming days. I will be getting another vehicle just to transport the hawk to and from my land so i won't have a problem.. Cheers for looking Jon...

Volvo 740 Estate.
Been round the clock a couple of times, but starts first time and there is plenty of room in the boot for dogs, hawk, fishing tackle etc.
Looks like a brick but to me its practicle for my kind of hawking and comfortable etc. My missis keeps telling me to get rid of it, but it does everything I want and it doesn't owe me anything.

What on earth is a two inch lift kit? My first car was an Austin with what was known as a "dicky," known to Americans as a "rumble seat," so I believe, at the back where one could bung one's hawking gear, dog, Mother-in-Law, and so on. Ah well, you can't stop progress I suppose. Progress? Well that, as they say, is arguable.

a two inch lift kit is...well basicly what it says lol
its a complete suspension replacement kit springs shocks seats bump stops...that raise the whole range rover up two inchs from stock to give more ground clearence and more space in the archs for tire movement while green laning/going offroad it also allows you to fit a set of 18 inch wheels in under the archs if thats your choice i stuck with the sixteen standerd rims but went from 195x70x16 to 235x80x16...hope that explains it mate...spud

Thanks for that, but no, I'm really none the wiser. I can drive a car alright, but what goes on with its tippers, grunges and gudgeons is beyond me. I have more understanding of a woman's mind, and that's none at all.

I see you are a man of exquisite taste!!!
I have the identical vehicle. Same colour as well. Is yours the 3L Turbo D?? I bet you got it as an import - I did!!
The blacked out windows are excellent for stopping nosey parkers peering at your birds! All the imports seem to have them (dark windows - not birds!)
Mine came with GPS (great if you live in Tokyo) - but I took off the wind deflectors on the front and rear windows.
They are outstanding off-roaders. The thing seems to cope with anything you throw at it - and pulls like a train.

I find that this is the best car for me!
It’s great on tarmac, brilliant across mud tracks and even ice.
It gets you where you want to go and very rapid as well.
The birds love it, even when it rains they insist on coming out for a rally.
Pitfalls are
Hitting trees, falling in ditches and having to get it serviced after every stage!!
Good hawking.

You are right m8, i am a dealer for overwraps.com.
The decals are realtree wetlands and are specialist vehicle graphic decals.
It is a very hard wearing, tough ,heavy grade vinyl decal that when removed does not leave any trace or marks.
A lot of people use it to protect their truck from brush damage and then when they wish to resale just pull it off and you have a nice new shiny truck minus scratches.
It can be used to cover anything, trucks, boats, bows, guns etc.
