The Northamptonshire Raptor Club was formed in December of last year. The intention being to form an all inclusive group that represents all raptor keepers as well as Falconers.
The committee has vast experience in all forms of Raptor Keeping and flying, from owls to eagles, displays to the lone hawker.
The uptake in the short while we have been in existance has been amazing and beyond our wildest expectations.
The link below will take you directly to our website which will give you an idea of what we are about.
Our meetings are on the last Thursday of every month in the pavillion at Wootton Hall Park, Mereway, Northampton. We are a friendly bunch and love to see new faces, call in for a chat and see how we work.
I am the club rep on the IFF and you can contact me either here or by pm. Other contact options are on the web site, as are the topics of our club guest speakers.
Hope to see you there

Dear Glynn,
My name is Nick Redwood and i've living in shirebrook for a year now, practising Falconry for twenty-two yrs now and currently emmigrating to Bulgeria to start my own Falconry Display and Conservation Center, Hunting Lodge and an Outdoor Pursuits center.
My current birds i have at the moment are a Terciel Pere/Barb, Female Pere/Saker, Female Gyr/Saker, Female Harris, Male Commen Buzzard.
All though moving such a great distance i would very much like to join and any [limited) experience i have would love to share to your club, but i'm sure your advice and members would be of great advantage to me. Espessially i'm now taking on a major buisness venture such as this, any advice would be gratefully recieved.
Who knows in a year some of your members could have discounted holidays for Hunting Falconry on foot, mounted, quad bikes.
My property includes Forest, Woodland, Plain, lake at bottem of propety and Mountain twenty kilometers away and every quarry imaginable, even deer and wild boar for the experienced Aquilla hunters as eagle country is perfect.
Rifles and twelve gauges are also catered for with clay pigeon shooting and even camping in the Carpaithian Mountains. Archery and crossbows are also hunting opportunities and thats just the hunting side of my resort.
So i thought it would advantegous to us both if i could become a member.

Look forward to hearing from you,
Your's Sincecely

Thank-you Pavel for correcting my spelling of your country, what is falconry like in Sofia in popularity and was wondering if we could keep in contact for advice etc;
