Hi,
I have a Martin Jones leather topped indoor bow perch...I have only ever used it inside but the leather is starting to get a little hard and slightly slippery for the bird...does anyone have ideas on the best way to soften the leather without ruining it??
Cheers

I use kho cho line .... its red greasy stuff& god knows where they got the name from( I may well have spelt it wrong!!!) When it first goes on it seems a bit slippery but soon soaks in! If your bird is on silver sand it sticks like hell so best do it on the lawn!!!! most sadlers or falconry equipment folks sell it and it does the jesses aswell.
