Can someone describe the process for making a diy copulation hat?

I have a few bought in ones here but I want to have a play and try and change some bits and add the bits I like in each design,

Hi Jakk,

I get a very (!) cheap builders hard hat, glue some pipe lagging around the short brim and then cover it the whole thing with cheap white silicone sealant making ridges and troughs as you like.
Easy peasy and costs very little.....and works great!!

I was looking into this too - I'm sure someone did a thread a while ago, from start to finish, how to make one.
Post up the ones you already got - interested to see the different options.

We used to have a Tiercel that came with his own copulation hat, it was one of those green army hats with the ear flaps on, covered in brown silicone. It looked like a chocolate cake.

I've been told a good way to make them is to make sure they are NOT round as many males have a habit of spinning round your head and smearing the seamen. often these look similar to a half a rugby ball shape, that way the male can rest his legs either side of the hat comfortably.

Lots of clay, fiberglass, and silicone. It is isn't rocket science, but it takes alot of time (and luck) to get it right.

I'm looking into liquid latex and clay moulds if anyone has used them

You can get silicone with no antibacterial stuff in it. I believe most builders merchants will be able to advise.
We even converted a rubber car mat into a copulation pad for a goldie.

Did you mix in pigmentation? Can you remember the brand of latex you used? :supz:

Always had good fertility so I'd say no when it is dry and set.

Poster paint will get the results you're after. Make sure you do it a ventilated space....latex stinks!

You dont need anything special, as long as it mixes with the latex then it does the job. You need something pretty heavy duty for the 'red spot' though as it can take a bit of a battering...

I've never used it Derek, but im sure it achieves good results! I've experimented with a few different paints with small amounts of latex to get something that did the job. On a budget, poster paint works out alot cheaper than latex paint if you're producing a few to get a good one. Alot depends on the quality of your fiberglass mould.

The best way to make the AI hat would be a rubber injection mould. I was going to make one but after bought good hat from Stephen Moroney I lost interest.

Firstly make a clay mold to the desired shape, put all the indentations in you require. Then cover the mold in fiberglass, allow this to dry turn it over and remove the clay. You are then left with your mold wash it out and leave to dry. I use food grade silicone and colour as required.

The finished article, good luck with your attempts.:supz::supz:

No two different hats, one for a grykin and the other is for a tiercel two clay molds one on the black backing the other on the yellow backing.

Latex will kill your semen if fresh, we let them cure for 10 to 12 months after making or recovering
