In answer to your question,,,I used to do flying displays so I would always prefer imprints for this, less stress on the bird, one no need of higher aggression levels, two and if a bird suddenly went awol, it would fly down to the first person it saw, and with my phone number on, quickly recoverd. I preffered lannerts, would socialise as normal for six weeks, I dont believe there perhaps absorbing quite as much as we think, so at five weeks, pop them into a large shed with perching, and just go in 5 times a day with food, they see every thing going on in the garden. At eight wks open the door so they can get up onto low roofs, roofs are very important as they can naturally progress to there own confidence, feed back in shed, on glove at the end of the day. After three days they have progressed to flying to neighbours roofs and back, fed up in the morning, tossed onto low roof, of they go, will quickly start venturing further afield, as flying progresses, now when they come back, they are fed on the glove and hooded!!! for the first time, for short periods to start, then longer, they will periodically also be tethered to a block, in the evening as there nackered. Then put away on the screen ledge for the evening, each morning they are picked, fed on the fist, gorged mind, then realeased, coming back, mid afternoon, called down to lure then fed ,hooded, traveld, get them use to moving hooded, over the next three weeks they muscle up like you would never believe, pecs and air sacs, blown to full capacity!!! and the best is they will never ,ever lose that fitness!! A hacked falcon will learn you more in three weeks, than in three years conventionaly flying, but it does take a bit of balls as it has its risks!! hope this helps..
