That is really beautiful. Hate to think of someone ramming that in their jacket pocket!!
It should be displayed on the mantlepiece!!

Very nice Bb! :D
Can i ask, is the feathering purely for decoration or something else? I personally don't like feathering decor on hoods, but i do believe they look nice sometimes, and in your case, the feather decor is quite artful!

The hood is made as it is because it was intended to be a traditional gamehawk hood.
A gamehawks hood is expected to have red eye pieces and a contrasting wool hackle below the feathered plume.
The feathers are to be taken form one of the hawks main quarries, in this case pheasant.
The hood for the Crow hawk is to have green eye pieces to signify a crow/gull hawk and will have no feathered plume, just a series of turks head knots

thats better blackbird more like a hood ;) as the first lot looked like a pheasants head lol if you placed that hood on your bird and released another i bet it would turn around and nail it pmsl ;)
