I have worked with phillip glasiers imperfect anglo indian hood pattern for a while, and am looking for something of higher quality. Can any one give me/tell me where to get some better anglo-indian patterns?
I have the downloadable slijpier's cannon program from the mondern apprentice, any others?

HM, don't the patterns on that thread require blocking? I dont have any blocks, so am having a go with the unblocked anglo-indian hoods.
BB, My stitching is still a learning progress, and it only seals off when the eye seams are wetted and hit over a handle (as you show in your hood making thread). I always thought the style of the slijpers was to have pointed seams? Will it still fit a bird if I wet and hit the seams (and perhaps added the few stitches in the back as per Phillip Glasiers pattern) ?

Can someone put up a copy of the slipers hood, becuase it wont work on my computer at all! I've been trying diff things to open but it wont. Thanks if you can help.
There's a site I put up a link to, try searching hood patterns on google on a japanese hood makers website. Also, Jack Mavro's book has some pretty neat hood patterns with the correct size for the hawks, havnt got the falcon version. Simple hoods, anglo indian.

I'm assuming you have a program which opens .zip files, Hannah?
I have the zip file, all I do is double click on it. I know thats probably not very helpful, but dont know what else to do!

The fit should not be spoiled too much by wet beating the seams but if you cut the seams at a slight angle you should have no problems(practice makes perfect!)
You could always glue a bit of thin leather to the inside of the seams too.
this will stop the light getting in:yawinkle:

cut out two more hoods today and poked the holes in one. Thought I recalled your thread mentioning cutting them at an angle and did so - will see how it goes sewing them tomorrow!
