I know this has nothing to do with falconry but we all have dogs and its just a heads up. My dog Honey ate one of those fluffy yellow chicks with the wire in, that kids get for easter. She has had an operation today as it ripped her guts and she is still there now. If your kids get them be careful if you have any pets. Hopefully she will be ok and it will just cost me an arm and a leg but I don't care as long as shes ok.

Very good luck with your dog..in the past I had a bull terrier that Had to have his guts just about turned inside out because of what he ate that he didn't ought to have. Wasn't expected to make it, but he did! I'm currently nursing a ferret that managed to swallow a lump of agricultural tape....I'm changing her name to Diamond because I could have bought one for the amount the vet charged....I have a sense how committed you are to your animals, so I wish you well.

Thanks I'm sure she will be fine fingers crossed. She was still heavily sedated when I saw her at 6pm. She was operated on at 12 but they said she had been finding it hard to come out of the sedation. Hope to have her home tomorrow dogs and the things they do to us.
