I am thinking about buying a kite for my falcon after he has moulted. Could anyone give me advice where to go and what kit i need? Also do i need a license to fly it

Thanks for that guys:) I have a thought bugging me i think it could be totally stupid though but here goes lol when the bird is at the right pitch couldnt the lure be released so the falcon has to stoop for it?

Definetly Mike.we do that all the time with a remote controlled release kit..............

Personally i would buy a Dan Leigh Delta kite exceptional kites very well made not cheap but very good. I think the most important aspect of kite flying is having the right kite for the wind conditions and the correct line make sure you have the right equipment or youll struggle. Mike

What I ahve found through many years of selling not only kites but everything required to set up a kite flying programme is that different people need different equipment , & different areas of the country require tottally different kites, relaeases etc etc and then of course with regard to an individual falcon these sometimes require different apparatus. HTH
