After reading (in) a few threads about egg chasers, wonder what sports other people play/watch/support.? I must admit in turning channels when the rugby is on (I'd even watch 'murder she wrote' as opposed to rugby). So I for my sins like football (soccer to our American friends) and follow the once mighty Nottingham Forest, so bombard me with your best has-beens, and tell us what else sport wise you like!

I'm into ice hockey, and I'm a big Pittsburgh Penguins fan. I think they're the best-looking team, and the ones with the best hopes for the future :)
I also watch any equestrianism I can find on TV (other than horse racing, that gets old quick), but prefer show-jumping over all other disciplines.

When I was a lad at school the PE lessons represented the infamous lesson in 'Kes', however the sport ruled over by the totalitarian teacher was rugby and Mr Joshua made you pay for any F***-ups. He was Welsh when Wales ruled rugby, and we knew it!! Sorry put me off life, brother however is a season ticket holder at the Tigers (Leicester not Castleford). BTW not got a clue what the difference between Union and League is and quite frankly....

I enjoy Boxing and Rugby. I dont compete in the ring anymore but did from an age of 16-27 at an amature level went to turn pro twice but certain problems prevented me from achieving that. still love to do bag and pad work and like to spar with some of the lads down the gym. played Rugby league at an amature level Two seasons ago at the age of 42 I started to play union which I really enjoy playing my first match since Nov recovering from yet another broken rib injury lol. Had a warm up match last week with some lads and staff at school here is a pic of BJJ in action.

Cheers BJJ

Rugby league to one dimentional for my likeing, but hugely physical sport, bigger hits than union with double tackles and the head almost seems a target area . Union has it all to me, i love the lineouts the tactical approach the driving mauls, contested scrums, where its about technique aswell as strength and i think its running and handling in its purest form, i love it:goodman: i may be biased as im welsh:lol: coached senior teams for the last 8 seasons, avnt played much for a few seasons........ but i could im only 42:roll:

I used to go to watch (and bet on) bare knuckle boxing at a farm in Bradford, now that was bloodsport. :supz:

Been to a dog fight too but that was grim and pretty much ended my association with "those types"

I don't believe he has been tested sufficiently, he carries his left arm way too low!! Will see how he does against Brian Magee next month, as my judgement on hm is still out.
