what do people think about if like the kennel club they have a minumum and maximum age for breeding we did the same with BOPs
For instance those that wanted to register with the IBR the parents would have too be older than say 5yrs. Do you think that there might be a reduction in the birds bred. Rather than people getting a bird for a season then breeding them.
it might make a multi teer pricing stage .ie birds younger than 5 will be cheaper than those above 5 and those that are proven breeders even more, thus putting a few off.
By no means this is having a go at breeders
And i know that they do breed naturally before 5 in the wild, but like some members have said also some of thier birds havent bred until beyond the age of 6.
