my wifes MHH would play with squicky toys and the dogs rubber bone, its favourite thing was a rubber dog ball with a bell in it, it would walk around with the ball in its foot like long john silver.

hiya,

i got morag lots of stuff to keep her busy. Best thing is most of the stuff is free. Small cardbord boxes that float in the bath make great rubber duckies, cardbord boxed great to destroy, dog ball's to chase and pounce on, a veriaty of perching from pea gravel/pebbles and grass on different perches. She's havin a good time, and currently enjoying the freedom of the trolly perch. I'll try an get sum pics of her playing. Its great to watch!

when I was cleaning at the centre I helped at our female harris used to play with the scrubbing brush if it was left within reach, the birds which played the most were the new world vultures they had plastic ducks and all sorts, and our black kite who used to play with sticks and pebbles and a tennis ball lol

The HH is free lofted in the moult chamber, but has lots of toys. I go in & sit on a milk crate and play catch with him. If you throw small pebbles or a bit cut off the handle of a broom (his fav. toy) he catches it and brings it back. He takes the toys to the top perch and drops them in the bath, then spends ages trying to drown them.

Our female goldie at the center I work for regularly plays catch. She has a big rubber dog toy and a couple tennis balls she loves to catch and squeeeeeze.
I showed one of our older FHH a smaller Kong dog toy (red) that belonged to a different bird - she pounced on it, mantled, and made the rest of the HH jealous for an hour :D
