People have been pestering me to put up some pictures of the screen ledge perches I use, after thinking of this four years ago I have been using it ever since, just wish I had the brainstorm 23 yrs ago! however having taken some pics, and loaded them onto the pc how do I put them on here?

Thanks greg, I am useless on these things, years ago I once booked out £25000, worth of falconry, to someones room when I worked at Gleneagles, big computer cock up, was much better at flying the birds thankfully!! cheers for helping out, and should be around to answer any questions on this system.

Merger,
does the missus wonder why the doormats keep going missing?
Good idea, simple and effective.
No doubt you will get a bit of flack for the small carabinner type clip.
I have used these before and i know they will not come undone m8.
Nice setup and very clean and hygenic.
Do i now get to look after your Gyr/merlin?

I use this clip on my tall perch. It isn't a carabeener clip. It is a quick link for chains. They work well, and don't come undone.

Thanks greg, there you go boys if anyone else uses the same Idea I would love to know! I thought of this one sat morn, and by 8 pm had ripped out £1000 , mews based on nick fox set up, tried many clips this one never comes undone, it screws together, and I hate clips of any sort, yes they are doormats!!stiff and slightly taperd, to avoid muting, birds very rarely bate as with the screen they dont like hanging upside down!!These are night shelters birds blocked out in the day, this mews is darkened, when door shut, birds are 4 feet away from mutes at my eye level, they feel less intimdated, I have never had a damaged feather with this system, if the weathers rough, I feed on the fist one at a time and put them back for the day leaving door and window open for stimulation! sand on floor gets cleaned when Im ready, as for clean set up its not bad . I dont own my own house, so have never been able to build my perfect mews , imagine a brick building, tiled floor and tiled walls, these perches,a gully in the centre of the floor to pressure wash the whole building!!air vents at ground level and cieling hieght, I know this is a good system, niel forbes told me so. thats what the letters are on the hardboard we done some intensive testing a few years ago, concerning coccsi, with 8 birds, every day, for 6 wks, the perches supplied by raptor box, leash falconry fayre, loops, leash fixed to the wall permanetly, carpets b@Q!! as with any screen perch always make sure the bird can regain it at least once ,I have had two falcons that would not over many years, anyway there you go and have fun, I hope it may give at least one falcon a happier, cleaner life remember,, NECCESSITY BREEDS INNOVATION!!blimey thats my quote,me from a rough council estate to!!!! keep using that brain guys, we can only go forward, any queries give us a shout. kev riach.

Chatting with Doug pinoe at the fair yesterday, another innovative falconer, he got quite excited when I explained this system, and was going to try it with his gyr when he got home, I just had to email him the picture, hes going to let me know how he gets on in a few weeks, Ill keep you posted.
