hi evryone just to ask i am thinking of joining a club this year and thourght is it a good thing to hood the gos when on a meet if so what size ? cus never uesed one . olny on a lugger

Why would you want to hood a Gos on a Field meet...

To avoid having to hold it back when it is another birds slip.
Certainly no disadvantages in making it to the hood.
As for what hood ,speak to Griff on this forum and he will sort you out.

Why would you want to hood a Gos on a Field meet... would you want to kill every thing and spoil the day ?

Tiercel Gos , try size 4
Get one with gortex braces.

For any Goshawk you want a H J Slipjer pattern hood (Griff will be happy to supply you with one)

I have yet to find a hood that fits an accipiter better.
The picture is of a spar but demonstrates the fit well :yawinkle:

Griff,s hoods look the buisiness.
I no longer hood my Gos but I,m tempted to buy one of these anyway.:cool:

reuben m8 i think i will be getting one if giff is at the fair .bit early to get one made cus ant got my bird yet try to get one that fits good .till i can one made if you no what i mean
