View Full Version : Fitting bedroom doors from mfi

Can anybody help i purchased a bedrroom suite from mfi and ive got to fit the doors and they wont close properly .
Does anyone know how to fit them properly as theres no details for fitting them ,ive spent the last 2 hours trying .

There's some screw adjusters on the hinges - they are the ones with the spring behind them. You need to adust the top and bottom hinges so that they meet neatly in the middle (assuming you're talking about hinged doors and not sliding ones!)

Ive fitted them into the sides and adjusted them i think ill go Mfi 2moro and see how they are fitted it quite hard to explain ,

whats the matter with you man? dont you know flat pack furniture requires at least an architect and an engineer to assemble?

Id rather do it meslf ,lol
Ill nip mfi 2moro and kidnapp some wroker there to do it for me .

if the doors arnt lining up it may be that your floor is not level.Try pushing the side of the wardrobe to see if the doors line up, if they do put a wedge under the offending leg.

Im sorry m8 i was fitting the wrong hinges on it ,pmsl
We have a side unit and its angled ,lol
I was up since 6am and got home at 6pm ,then i started fitted the units and tried to fit the doors .ive got into night and sorted the problem .

First rule of flat pack assembly, get a good picture of what it should look like then throw away the instructions!!:lol:
