I was told that some foreign that I cant pronounce and cant spell were the best, they were at the Falconers Fair, they were cheaper than I expected and have a super sound to them. As I haven't used them I have no idea how they last  but they came recomended by a couple of v.reputable falconers.
I always buy the smallest size as they sound good and are just as loud as some great big thing. For hunting I always tail mount as I won't put anything unnecessary on a birds legs

My brass ones were louder than the Larry Counce and the noble ones i bought. Counces and nobels are machined so they look neater. But without question the doug pineo monster bi-coloured ones are the dogs testicles.............AWESOME. :supz: :supz:

Thanks lancz....I think Bod weighed his against Peels and mine were about 5 grams lighter as well. ;-) However that may just have been that set, as they do vary a little with each individual one.

Make your own ;-)
I ordered some stuff to make my own bells. It should be here tomorrow. If I get good at it, I'll send you a pair.

Hey Jimmy, small world!

I'd love to make some...I can do most any other furniture making things, hoods, braiding leashes, etc. but when it comes to metal and hot things...well, I stink at it!

Good luck and let me know how it goes for ya...

Lee....what size?

I am sending Jimmy a copy of my 'home made' bell making DVD. I have to do a voice over yet, but the footage makes it clear what to do, however the quality is not oscar nominated material.

Send an addy and I will fix something up for you over the next couple of week as I am now having a bit of a back log...:supz:
