I have all of Martin's books and love 'em all.
Read every book cover to cover when I got them.
Harris Hawk days is excellent, but the Golden eagle one is also very good.

You arent allowed to hunt HH in the Netherlands, are you?
I heard some rumors that there might be a change in the future?

Exactly, we are not allowed to hunt with the Harris in the Netherlands.
Only Gos and Peregrine are allowed, the reason behind this is that our government thinks that other birds of prey than Gos or Peregrine will upset the local wildlife to much....
My mentors hunt with the Harrisses in Germany on private land.
Strangely, you are allowed to use Harrisses in chasing away pigeons or other pests, from rubbish dumps and such...
But you are right about the change, hopefully this summer everyone with a falconry license will be able to be in the field again with all birds of prey and owls. But I'm not sure it also allows hunting with other species then, But, it's a step in the right direction.

I have all his books, aawwww I wish he had a brother (unmarried  )
I don't think any one writes about HH like he does, gather there is a new book in the pipe line too, but he wouldn't tell us what it is about at the Fair.
