Lanner egg

Pipped internaly sometime between 11.30 am and 2.30 pm today

Now I thought falcon eggs generaly pipped internaly and externaly at the same time ?

Should I start to get worried at all or is this common and I have been misinformed..

Egg is cheeping away nicely ATM

It cant do both at the same time. Dont worry until its been externally pipped for fifty hours.

No. I meant what I posted. After fifty hours just keep a good eye on it. Hatch could take up to 72hrs from pip.

As long as it has pipped in the right place you shouldn't have too much to worry about (about 3/4 up on the egg from the pointed end). I have had Lanner eggs hatch anywhere between around 50 hours and nearly 90 with no problems!
After the initial pip you might not see much happening until a few hours before it will hatch and then it starts breaking up more of the shell around the pip area.

Don't panic!!!
