what pressure do u use in your tyres on the road? Mine is supposed to be 36 front and 43 psi rear recommended by the manufacturer.
But I always put 32 in front and 36 in rear and I've checked with my tyre dealer and they suggested the same for the road and a lot less for track.
36 and 43 is far too hight even for normal road use. so why do they tell u do that? especially riding hard on twisty roads. its like commiting a scuicide leaning the bike over on those kinds of tyre pressures.
What do u do? what sort of pressures do you normally have in your tyres on the road?

Hi Jon, I run 42 psi front and back on my Blackbird anything less and the back one overheats and then skips about and the front one with anything less is all over the place following the lines on the road and is really heavy on the steering and tries to tuck under on cornering....R'gards Rob.

I ride an NC30. 33 psi front and back. Never had any problems in the dry or the wet. The times when the bike felt a bit twitchy was when I needed a top up or when my front right fork was leaking. It was a nightmare on roundabouts.

Thanks for the offer Hawking rock but i tend to stay away from Matlock m8 due to the high presents of police only i run a 1 liner number plate and a few other bits and bobs so they would be issueing me with fixed penaltys m8 so i dont go there... A good nite out is willingham woods up near MKT Rasen on a good wed nite u get a couple of thousand turn up another one is Boston nite out they hold that once a year in the MKT place at Boston there good nite m8... But the best of all has to be the barton upon humber bike nitehttp://www.bartonbikenight.co.uk/ If the weather is good looking at anything from 5,000 to 10,000 bikers m8 cracking nite and its not a bad run up there either....

Sticking with them! if it ain'y broke don't fix it I say, they are super sticky and pretty good in the wet, and I don't see the point in paying good money to try another tyre that may not be as good, I can't say that they will do the mileage this year though as it'll be mostly fast....fast...fast!

Was hoping to get out my bike today but the weather is ***** down here m8 done about 60miles yesterday on it then the heavens opened up. Was hoping to get out today but its been bleeding wet/damp all day with the odd spot of rain so not done owt today. Yet tomorrow forecast is sunny yet got to go to work typical isn't it. Does make me wonder at times if it is worth having a bike only how weather is so unpredictable tends to spend more time in the garage than on the road due to the weather...

36 front
42 rear according to haynes for my 98 blade
did over a thousand miles on it last two weeks
i found that 020's on the back and 010's on the front are a good combination for most riders
