Bells and small falcons

what are people opinions on belling small falcons

would you just use a transmitter or would you put a bell on aswell.

also which mounting method do you prefer for bells and telematry.

I had Nobel No.0 on my Perlin last year but even they seemed a little big............................they also didn't ring that well!!! When he was stooping you could hear them whistle.
I back packed him in the end so as to free up the feet end!!!

saker sucker how did you get on with the backpack on loco?

ive got a marshall trackpack and micro im hoping to try on a male perlin this year

it didn't seem to bother him at all......................................half way down on page 19......................it was a home made one; tried one the Saker this year but 3 times she bit it off!!!

It's a small world. I've had the memorial pictures of you and Loco, on the Falcon's Block, saved to my favorites for some time. He was beautiful, and it was easy to see how proud you were of him. Sorry for your loss m8. I have a tiercel Perlin comming soon, I just hope he'll be half that good.
To get back on track, go with telemetry on small birds, as Clive pointed out they aren't that loud anyway. Better to save the weight on something more usefull.

A little off topic but I have found a video clip of Loco just after I set him free .................................... I can't take any of the real credit for him as he was already trained when I got him:confused:
