i have been promising perlin bob as we call him( khan on the forum) a trip to try and get his fist roe buck, i owed him a favour for looking after my gos when i was on my hols. the first buck we stalked last night did not present a good easy enough shot for novice, so i took that one, luckily we dropped on this buck at 9 30 pm nearly dark we stalked into it and got a good lying position 160 yards from it, when it presented itself bob took the shot and it rolled down the steep bank. it did'nt know what had hit it. i took this pic this morning, bob woulds have smiled for the camara but we had just recieved a phone call to tell us his mum had passed away very suddenly.:cry:
